Roles & Managing Members
Every Sassychat workspace has three roles that control what a person can see and do. This page covers what each role means and how to manage your team.
The three roles

The Owner has full control over everything. This is automatically the person who created the workspace.
Owners can:
- Do everything Admins and Members can do
- Access and manage Billing
- Delete the workspace entirely
Admins are your trusted team leads. Give this role to people who help run the operation.
Admins can:
- Invite and remove team members
- Change member roles
- Connect and manage accounts
- Update workspace settings
Member
Section titled “Member”Members are your day-to-day users: chatters, moderators, assistants.
Members can:
- Use the Sassychat desktop app
- View connected accounts
- Read and respond to fan messages via the AI
Members cannot invite others, remove team members, or access billing.
Choosing the right role
Section titled “Choosing the right role”- Co-founder or business partner? → Admin
- Chatter or VA? → Member
- Trusted manager running multiple creators? → Admin
Managing members
Section titled “Managing members”Update someone’s role or remove them from Settings → Organization.
Change a member’s role
Section titled “Change a member’s role”- Find the member in your team list.
- Click the role dropdown next to their name.
- Select the new role.
The change takes effect immediately, with no confirmation needed.

Remove a member
Section titled “Remove a member”- Find the member in your team list.
- Click Remove next to their name.
- Confirm the removal in the dialog that appears.

They lose access to your workspace immediately. Their Sassychat account still exists; they just won’t be able to see or use your workspace anymore.
Cancel a pending invitation
Section titled “Cancel a pending invitation”If someone hasn’t accepted their invite yet:
- Go to Settings → Organization.
- Find the pending invitation in the team list.
- Click Cancel Invite.
The invitation link in their email stops working immediately.
